Nerja has a nice, Mediterranean climate and over 300 days of sun a year. Even temperature almost all year round makes this part of the Costa del Sol a fantastic place to practice outdoor sport.

Temperatures in Nerja oscillate between 14 Cº in winter, and up to 30 Cº in summer. At night, temperatures can drop from anywhere between 7 Cº in winter to 21 Cº in summer. They are agreeable temperatures that make this place a popular town to visit. November and January are the rainiest months, while June, July, and August there tends to be no rainfall at all.

For aquatic sport lovers, the water temperature in Nerja is the same as its climate, it varies little, and moves slowly in temperature, nothing extreme. In winter the water can be around 14 Cº and in summer it can get up to 20 or 21 Cº.
